The Boundary House Patient Participation Group (PPG) – Your Voice, Your Health!

If you would prefer to read these pages in another language please select your preferred language above.

The Boundary House Surgery believes that quality healthcare is built on strong relationships between patients and healthcare providers. We are pleased that there’s a Boundary House Patient Participation Group (PPG) which encourages patients, staff, and the local community to join together in shaping the future of healthcare services at our Surgery.

We know that the NHS is under pressure and that whilst most of the time things work well, sometimes they don’t. We want to hear about the good, and the not so good, so that we can  work to make the patient experience of the Boundary House Surgery the best it can be.

You can help in two ways.

  1. Let us know your experience of the Boundary House Surgery. Was it good? Was it bad? What would have made it better?  You can email Neil, the Chair of the PPG at boundaryhouseppg@gmail.com. Please do not send any confidential information.
  2. Join the Boundary House Patient Participation Group by either

The PPG is your opportunity to be heard, make a difference, and play an active role in improving healthcare for yourself, your loved ones, and the wider community. We want YOU to join us, please, in creating a fully inclusive and patient-centred experience at Boundary House.

Here are some reasons for joining the PPG:

  1. Have Your Say: As a PPG member, your voice matters. You’ll have the chance to share your thoughts, concerns, and suggestions directly with the surgery’s staff and leadership. We value your feedback and use it to enhance the services we provide.
  2. Influence Positive Change: Be a part of shaping the future of healthcare at Boundary House. By participating in discussions and surveys, you can help us address key areas of improvement and ensure that our services meet the evolving needs of our community.
  3. Promote Health Awareness: The PPG is actively involved in organising health campaigns and educational events.
  4. Connect with Your Community: Being a part of the PPG brings you closer to other patients who share your concerns and aspirations. Together, you’ll work with staff to promote better health outcomes and build a stronger, more connected healthcare community.
  5. Shape the Patient Experience: Whether it’s reducing waiting times, improving communication, or suggesting new services, your input will directly contribute to making Boundary House Surgery a place where patients feel understood, respected, and cared for.

Florence, one of the original members of the Boundary House PPG says “It is good to be part of the PPG, not only in being able to make things better for patients, but also to be able to learn more about the health service. I have also met some lovely people including students from a local school who have contributed to the progress of the PPG.”

Whether you can attend regular meetings or prefer to share your feedback online we want to hear from you.

  • Attend Meetings: Join our upcoming meetings to share your insights, meet other patients, and learn more about our work. Email boundaryhouseppg@gmail.com for the date of our next meeting
  • Share Feedback: If attending meetings isn’t convenient for you, feel free to share your feedback via email. Every comment helps! boundaryhouseppg@gmail.com

Together, We Can Make a Difference!

We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, for example we were recently awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the Corkhill Awards for our work in the community. But we know there’s always room to improve. With your involvement, we can ensure that every voice is heard, every concern is addressed, and every patient receives the best possible care.

Join the Boundary House PPG today and be a part of something bigger – because your voice matters, and together, we can shape the future of our healthcare services. If you have any questions, or want to know more, please email Neil, the Chair of the PGG, at boundaryhouseppg@gmail.com.
