Places to Eat
There are two pubs in the village; both serve excellent
pub food and real ales. 'The Royal Oak' is on the Gosport Road,
just across the road and 'The Rose and Crown' is a leisurely
10 minute walk.
The
'Greyfriars Inn' in Chawton and the Queens Hotel in Selborne
also serve good food.
Alton
has a number of restaurants including Osteria Antica (Italian),
River Kwai (Thai) and Truffles restaurant at the Grange Hotel.
There are a number of good pubs in the various villages.
